Sarah and Justin had the shortest wedding celebration I’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing. And I can’t lie – I loved everything about it, including the fact that I only had three hours to photograph as many special moments as possible! They were married on a Thursday (which was meaningful to them as it was the anniversary of the day they met) and it was one of the smokiest days Calgary has ever seen. I absolutely loved the way the air diffused the normally-harsh midday sun, and it gave me the ability to shoot where ever I pleased. After Sarah and Justin’s ceremony, which was complete with beautiful, personal vows and only their closest friends and family, we had around 75 minutes for all of their photos. (Including friends and family!) My hope is that as you look through their photos, you wouldn’t have guessed that we were hustling. These two are so happy together, which really shows, and they make me smile just by being around them. Their use of “bae” totally cracks me up and is super cute all at the same time. S & J, now every time I hear “bae” – I will be thinking of your beautiful, intimate wedding day and how happy I am to have captured it!
