After a few minutes of chatting with E & D, I knew I wanted to work with them. As they sat together on the couch, telling me their story and their vision for the day, I found myself getting more and more excited. They’re warm, kind, hardworking professionals, classy, exciting, and most importantly, crazy in love. They were my kind of clients, and when they told me they were booking me as their photographer, I even called my husband in excitement! These two will be tying the knot next year at Fairmont Banff Springs hotel (my favourite venue in the province) and to say I can’t wait is an understatement. Since they’ll be getting married in the mountains, we stayed in Calgary for their engagement session, and timed it with the beautiful blooms around The Lougheed House. Then, we drove to St. Patrick’s Island and took advantage of the dreamy sunset light before finishing our session with a cityscape in the background. I hope you enjoy this gallery, and that it shows you that city engagement sessions can be just as beautiful as mountain ones!
