Styled Desert Bridal Shoot – California Wedding Photographer

After my workshop with Amanda K Photography in San Diego, I was more inspired and more full of passion for what I do than ever before. I took this excitement and the pieces of what I had learned and applied them to one of my favorite shoots I’ve ever photographed – this beautiful desert bridal shoot. This year will be my year of distinguishing myself, my business, and what I can offer my clients. It has already been four months of refining my style and trying to offer something special and different. That will only continue. The creative sessions I have planned and executed (think to my Gold & Glitter Inspired Bridal Shoot as well) have been such creative boosts for me, and I can’t wait to apply this creativity and this inspiration to all my weddings and other sessions in 2014. Shooting these two beautiful women in such a stunning and different location was a dream come true to me. California will always be for me.

Styled Indian Wedding Clothing Shoot – Calgary Wedding and Portrait Photographer

Today I’m sharing something a little different with all of you! Back in August, I photographed my first Indian wedding, and I was so captivated by the beautiful colors, jewelry, and the overall feel of the celebration. So of course I was excited when Jai of The Studio by Jai Basi contacted me about doing a styled Indian fashion/wedding attire shoot – it sounded like so much fun! Both of these young women looked gorgeous, and I loved the opportunity to be creative and do some fashion type shots.

Gold & Glitter Inspired Bridal Shoot – Sneak Peek

I don’t even know where to begin with this post. It is really just a “sneak peek” so I should probably keep it short and sweet for now. Then later I can get all sappy and tell you all that I was nearly in tears when I saw my vision come together right in front of my eyes. I think maybe the best part about it is that this shoot was mine. Over the last couple months I spent hours styling it, planning it, and then of course, capturing it. I got in touch with some amazing vendors who I knew would be the right fit – and everything seemed to work together perfectly.

I cannot say enough “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!”s to all the vendors who gifted me with their time and talent:

So, so happy… here we go.

If these images stir up something inside of you the way they have in me, I can only hope that I get the chance to work with you in the future.

Keep dreaming,
