I remember when Caitlyn and Nathan first got in touch with me. It was quite a while back, and Nathan was doing most of the communicating, as Caitlyn was in Oregon for school. I thought this was so awesome, a groom who cared so much about this part of the planning, and knew that photography was important to him and his bride. Fast forward to their wedding day – a chilly, sort of gloomy Saturday in August with drops of rain here and there. I welcomed the weather, grabbed a few blankets for the ladies, lots of umbrellas, and ended up being pleased that the cloudy day gave us opportunities to shoot wherever we desired. The day was so natural, so easy, and SO beautiful. Their timeline was relaxed and still allowed for tons of time for photos, everyone involved was so happy to be a part of this day, and the details were stunning. This was my first opportunity to work with Lyn of Flower Artistry, and I was in awe of her creations. Most importantly, I feel so excited about the images I captured for such a special, kind couple. Especially the images where Caitlyn has that big, beautiful smile. It seriously makes my day – and I’m sure it’ll make Nathan’s every day you’re together. Wishing you both so much happiness. Xo!
