Natasha & Matt – Banff Springs Wedding – Banff Wedding Photographer

I’ve always loved photographing weddings at The Banff Springs, and this September day was no exception. Jasmine of Reflections Weddings planned a visually stunning day for a crazy-in-love couple. Natasha & Matt have been such a pleasure to work with, from their romantic, snowy engagement session, to their stylish wedding day with such heartfelt moments like their vows and first dance. I loved their day so much, that I decided to share the story of their day in my sample wedding album. Speaking of that, I can’t wait to share my new sample albums from Dekora with all of you! For now, enjoy this beautiful day!

Baby H – Calgary Newborn Photographer

Hi friends! I’m getting back to blogging, so to start, here is the sweetest newborn session I captured during the holidays. Baby H has the most beautiful nursery, and this session was a total photographer’s dream.

Olympia’s Valley Estate Wedding Inspiration – Napa Valley Wedding Photographer

California… the state of magical golden light, stunning landscapes, beautiful vineyards and estates. As a wedding photographer, it’s the ideal place to plan an inspiration shoot. So when I came across Olympia’s Valley Estate, I knew I had to create something beautiful there during my trip in June. I had a vision for a romantic, soft, classic wedding shoot, and ended up playing the roles of both planner and photographer. You can imagine my joy when everything came together (with just a few bumps along the way, like a massive storm at the beginning of our shoot!) I put my heart into this shoot, and there’s nothing better than to see hard work pay off. The vendors that contributed to this project were so wonderful and invested, I was so thankful to have an amazing team coming together to make something special. To top it off, I was able to accomplish one of my career goals: to be published in Magnolia Rouge! You can see that feature HERE.

Colby & Reece – Canmore Wedding Photographer

Sometimes we meet people who we just click with instantly. I felt that way when getting to know Reece & Colby as we chatted about their love story and their plans for their wedding day during our first coffee meeting. That feeling of friendship continued through the engagement session, happy hour margaritas, and then of course, their beautiful (and super smoky) August wedding day. Having a similar story to Sean and I, they were quickly smitten, and became engaged two years after meeting – they just knew. These two have an easy love; they are each other’s best friends and the way Reece looks at Colby is SO heart warming… when Colby walked down the aisle he looked as if his heart could just explode at any moment. One of my favourite visual aspects of the day was their classic style. I love a groom who can pull of the classic black suit and bowtie, and Colby was breathtaking in her lace Katie May gown and long veil. And those flowers… and the archway… Okay, I’ll stop swooning and let you swoon over this beautiful day now.

Venue: Cornerstone Theatre and Quarry Lake Park (Canmore)

Jordan & Alexis – Engagement Session

They have the sweetest love, the kind that is so easy to capture. The way Jordan looked at Alexis, the way they spoke to one another. These sessions are my favorites, because that’s what I’m here for. To photograph love. I was so thankful for the beautiful summer light that surrounded them that evening, it added a softness that complimented them perfectly. Gosh, I miss summer already.
